Week 7 - Friday

As predicted felt lousy this morning after my late night dinner. However, I am much more energetic today than I was yesterday. And my muscles are nice and sore from my weight training yesterday.

Popped to the gym this morning. Did a 5 minute warm up on the cross trainier, then did a 12.5km run (65 mins). Burning 650 calories. Definitely have to work harder for my calories these days.  But I am happy with this outcome. Food is on track this morning.

Food:
- porridge with banana and honey - 300 cals
- carrot juice - 100 cals
- Chicken, avo, date, carrot, beetroot salad - 300 cals

Food is going well today. Plan on having a light dinner, to make up for yesterday.  Regarding the weekend, I have a 30th birthday dinner out tomorrow night. However, I plan to eat really lightly during the day to make up for it.

Dinner was great - Just a chicken salad and a cup of tea and some strawberries. Delicious and light.
Yay! Perfect eating for once! :)

Hey!!

Well done yesterday. I know it was probably a few too many calories...but a few too many is so much better than a total blow out!! you should be very proud of yourself. For a lot of us (me included...but hopefully not now) going a little bit over would have been an excuse to throw in the towel and just give up for the day, but not you!! youre a star!! Well done! It sucks to wake up not feeling great about your night, but thats what the new day is for, and sounds like youre having a great one! Remember, its consistency...and its what you do MOST of the time that counts...so those couple of chips and mouthful of dessert wont even be a thing in a few more hours!!
YAY for friday!! What are your plans for the weekend??

Again, congratulations!!! Its Friday, and so far, we've both survived and we're both still blogging!! Keep it up!

Oh, and I LOVE all your quotes, really awesome!! Funny our succeeding in this means you have to employ a lot of the same mindsets as you need with succeeding at anything...guess its no coincidence!

So true, success certainly is a journey :) Maladaptive mindsets are certainly a hard one to crack. The eating something bad, turning into a binge and complete blow out, is one that I would love to see gone out of my mind.

Weird, that eating one naughty thing would lead to such ridiculousness. The whole start tomorrow mentality, and I can eat what I like for the rest of the day. So silly.

I am really trying to be conscious of this.

hehe...I know, its silly when you spell it out, but it definitely happens!!! hopefully over the next few weeks we can train ourselves out of this.

hope youre doing well!!! how was the rest of your Friday? How was your SSS?? Have you scoped the menu for your dinner tonight?

Absolutely! We will be leaving this mindset behind us for sure! :)

Friday went well, healthy dinner and felt great this morning.

Regarding the SSS, I am never able to do this as I work. So I will always do a harder workout on Tuesday or Wednesday. I attempt to burn 1000 calories at least one day a week, which is quite a feat when being so small. Can take 3 hours to get there.

I also don't have Sundays off. I don't have rest days. Have only had one day off training since starting Michelles program (when I was sick). Have always loved the exercise part. :)

I have scoped out the menu for tonight. Worst thing is that it is an italian restaurant, so there is not much that I can eat anyway. Pizza and pasta, not thanks. They do have GF pasta, but I have never liked/eaten pasta. So I am hoping that they have a nice special, otherwise I have come down to steak, or eggplant parma. Anyway we will see, calories are going well today though. Whoop whoop :)
